Who has the best WR tandem?

Ja’Marr Chase was made the highest paid non-quarterback in NFL history this past March. Furthermore, Cincy Tee Higgins inked a four year contract worth $115 million. It would be an understatement to say the Bengals are deeply invested in their WRs. With that said, the ultimate question is: do the Bengals have the best WR tandem in the league?

I honestly believe that the Bengals have the best WR tandem. Chase led the league in receiving yards (1,708) and touchdowns (17) last season. Meanwhile, Higgins hauled in 10 touchdowns in 12 games last season.

I would give Chase a 10 and Higgins an 8 out of 10.

The next best WR tandems would be the Los Angeles Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, and Miami Dolphins WR tandems.

I actually believe that Puka Nacua can be a more productive WR than Tae. Nacua would have hauled in 1,530 yards in 17 games. He had a PFF grade of 92.8 last season – which was first among WRs. He will be the WR1 for LA next season and beyond. I don’t believe he is as dynamic and well-rounded as Chase.

The Rams added a new WR2 this off-season. Davante Adams is a Top-10. I believe Tae has a slight edge over Tee. However, Tae hasn’t eclipsed 1,200 yards in each of his past two seasons. He also is 32 years old. Ultimately, I believe his All-Pro days are over.

I would give Nacua and 9 and Tae and 8 out of 10.

The Phins have the next best WR tandem in my opinion.

Well, Hill took a bit of a back step last season, as he failed to top 959 yards and six touchdowns in a full season. Hill is also 31 years old, while Higgins is 26 years old. There’s a higher ceiling with Higgins than Hill. Jaylen Waddle had a slump last season, too. He only notched 744 yards and two touchdowns last season. Mike McDaniel clearly needs to get his offense back to regularly putting up fireworks.

I would give Hill a 9 and Waddle a 7.5.

Not only do the Bengals have the best WR tandem, but they still have lots of room to grow. Chase should win an Offensive Player of The Year at some point and Higgins should punch his first ticket to the Pro Bowl
