Lamar Jackson
MBTI: ISFP
ISFPs are generous and open-minded. They minimize conflict and avoid painful situations. They are still bold and adventurous. They are less deep than INFPs, however.

MVP
Jackson won MVP in 2020 unanimously! Jackson was the second player ever to win MVP in that fashion. Tom Brady is the other player to win MVP unanimously. In Jackson’s MVP season, he threw for 3,127 passing yards, 36 touchdowns, 6 interceptions, and a 66.1 completion percentage. With his legs, he ran angrily for 1,206 yards and 7 touchdowns. Fellow Ravens legend Joe Flacco didn’t win regular season MVP for the Ravens, but he did win Super Bowl MVP for Baltimore shortly before Jackson arrived.
Jackson has bounced back as a super-hero QB in 2023-2024. Thankfully, he’s flashed greatness after agreeing to a monster contract.
In 2023 – Jackson has mind-boggling statistics. He has garnered 786 rushing yards – which is more than his 2022 rushing yards and 2021 rushing yards! He’s thrown 3,357 yards – which is already a career-high single-season passing YD for him. Furthermore, he’s thrown for 19 passing touchdowns – which is more than his 2022 and 2021 single-season passing TD figures!
“I’m trying to compete with Tom Brady. People are trying to make it to Pro Bowls and stuff like that? I don’t care about that. I’m not playing for myself. I’m playing for my team. My teammates know I’m all about winning.” – Lamar Jackson
Background:
Lousiville
Jackson was a god in college, to say the least. Jackson had 57 touchdowns from his sophomore and junior seasons combined. He also broke the opponent’s ankles and obtained 4,132 rushing yards from his three seasons combined. Unsurprisingly, Jackson won the 2016 Heisman (over Baker Mayfield, Jabrill Peppers, and Deshaun Watson)! He is one of seven players to win the MVP and the Heisman trophy.
Fun facts:
Contract:
The 2023 drama surrounding Jackson’s contract was serious. In late April, Jackson signed a five-year deal worth 260 million dollars! His 72.5 million dollar bonus is the highest bonus by an NFL player of all time. He is third in three-year APY (behind Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert) and fifth in guaranteed money (after Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert, and Kyler Murray).
Madden cover:
Jackson’s popularity certainly blossomed in the league to peg him as the face of Madden 21. Jackson was voted the league MVP in the 2020 season – due to his 43 total touchdowns & 13-2 record. However, it could be said that Jackson hit a bit of a roadblock (also known as a Madden curse) after his Madden glory. Jackson cracked one Pro Bowl spot between 2020, 2021, and 2022. The Madden 22 cover belongs to Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady, the Madden 23 showcases (obviously) John Madden and the Madden 24 features Josh Allen!
The Eraser:
Tom Brady has a special nickname for Lamar Jackson. Brady gave this nickname for Lamar after his dominant performance against the Dallas Cowboys. Lamar thought it meant a lot given that the GOAT had a special nickname for him.
Outlook:
Lamar is the frontrunner for MVP right now. Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes sits at number two. Lamar has lost a couple of games, but he still owns a winning record meshed with elite stats. Lamar has won an MVP before.
