Love floor and ceiling

Jordan Love has a new aura after this offseason. The Packers brought in first round pick Matthew Golden to help him out. He was the man on draft night, which also took place in Green Bay. Love wasn’t an overly impressive QB last season, but he has proven to be the “franchise QB” for the Packers.
Love threw for 3,389 passing yards, 25 passing TDs, and had a 63.1 completion percentage. However, he did throw 11 interceptions, which is a little high.
Love doesn’t have a lot of production in his career, which makes it difficult to peg his future. He has only started for two seasons.
Love had 9 wins in back to back seasons (2023 and 2024). He hasn’t proven to be a winner. But, that is okay! Brett Favre went 8-5, 9-7, and 9-7 in his first three seasons!
I believe the floor of Love is 3,300 passing yards, 22 touchdowns, and 7 wins. Sure, Golden will be a spark and may even be a 1k yard WR. It’s still not clear if he will be a Pro Bowl-type player. We witnessed Xavier Worthy be a slightly above average WR for Kansas City. He didn’t help Mahomes throw 5,000 yards or 40 touchdowns.
I believe the ceiling of Love is 4,500 passing yards, 35 touchdowns, and an 12-5 record. Not only does Love have new toys, but he has a shiny defense (led by Micah Parsons) that will help him by getting more takeaways and getting off the field on third downs!
In the end, Love is a modest QB. It’s hard to say he doesn’t have the same upside as A-Rod, as Rodgers had more top-end weapons. I’m excited to see where Love goes with more firepower this season.
