Projecting where the top free agents will land

Where will the top free agents sign?

By: Jake Rajala

The NFL offseason is around the corner. Free agency is a little over a month away. With that simply said, I’m going to project where the top free agents will sign.

Trey Hendrickson: New England Patriots

The New England Patriots could be a dynasty. Drake Maye is an MVP candidate and he’s in his second season. With that said, they could still benefit from an elite pass rusher. The Pats were 26th in sacks in 2025. Mike Vrabel needs to find an edge player that can be as dominant as he once was.

George Pickens: Dallas Cowboys

I can’t imagine that the Boys left George Pickens leave. He would also “love” to stay in Dallas. Pickens unleashed 1,429 receiving yards last season. He was the best WR2, to say the least. With Pickens and Ceedee Lamb, the Boys have the best WR tandem.

Daniel Jones: Minnesota Vikings

J.J. McCarthy is an athletic freak, similar to Anthony Richardson, but they can’t be consistent in the passing game. I don’t believe there’s a Tyler Shough or Jaxson Dart waiting for the Vikings in the middle of round one. They need to swing big for a QB in free agency. Insert Daniel Jones. He resurrected his career with the Colts last season, as he threw for 19 touchdowns and had a record of 8-5.

Tyler Linderbaum: Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens really need their elite center, as he’s paramount to the Baltimore running game. The Ravens were second in rushing YPG last season. He had an 80.2 PFF grade, which was fifth among centers. He is also 25 years old, so he’s in his prime!

Mike Evans: Los Angeles Rams

It may seem humorous to see the Rams target ANOTHER elite WR, but it makes sense. When Tom Brady and the Bucs won the Super Bowl, they had “three” prominent WRs in Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Antonio Brown. I want to see the Rams reload and stride to win another Super Bowl with Matthew Stafford.

Breece Hall: New Orleans Saints

The Saints use more inside zone than anyone else. Well, Breece Hall is blatantly impossible to defend in inside zone. Furthermore, the Saints need a true replacement for Alvin Kamara, who was dubbed the 54th best RB (out of 54) in 2025. Kamara is 30 and he’s not getting any younger.

Alec Pierce: Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders have a couple of key pieces, such as Brock Bowers at TE and Ashton Jeanty at RB. Of course, I expect them to bring in Fernando Mendoza at QB. They are just missing a prominent WR. The Geno Smith experiment is in the books. Klint Kubiak is a genus and he will put Alec Pierce, who is one of the most explosive WRs in the right spots. Jaxon Smith-Njigba led the league in receiving yards under him.

Kenneth Walker (aka K9): Seattle Seahawks

The Hawks can’t afford to let K9 follow Kubiak out the door. The running game really opens up the play-action game for Sam Darnold. K9 ran for 1,027 yards, averaged 4.6 YPC, and five TDs. He has four rushing TDs in his past two playoff games combined. He is also 25 years old, so he’s in his prime.

Malik Willis: New York Jets

Malik Willis is the underrated QB, while Justin Fields is the overrated signal-caller. Willis proved that he deserves to be a starter when he filled in the for injured Jordan Love. He had an 85.7 completion percentage, 12.1 YA, three passing TDs to zero ints, and he also had 123 rushing yards and two rushing TDs.
