Crosby and Brock Bowers
By: Jake Rajala
The Las Vegas Raiders have a first year quarterback and a second year running back in Ashton Jeanty. They may take this time to rebuild even more. They could get at least a first round pick for Brock Bowers and a couple of first round picks for Crosby. With that said, I’m going to unveil five teams that may trade for both of them!
Cleveland Browns
This is too easy. The Browns are a golden fit for these two. Of course, they lost Myles Garrett. It would be impressive if they could turn around and get Crosby. Furthermore, they no longer have David Njoku at TE. Harold Fannin Jr. is a modest TE, but he’s not a Top-10 TE. Bowers can make an immediate impact at that position and help his young QB Shedeur Sanders.
Dallas Cowboys
It’s not a surprise that Jerry Jones loves to make blockbuster trades. The Boys had a defense that ranked 32nd in PPG allowed last season. If Jadeveon Clowney comes back, he can wreak havoc. However, he is 33 years old, so he may not have much gas left in the tank. They also could use a quality TE that can be the next Jason Witten.
Tennessee Titans
The Titans have to do more to help their second year QB. Cam Wards need more gifted weapons. Carnell Tate, Calvin Ridley, and Bowers would be a potent trio of weapons. Their defense has been a middle of the pack, when it comes to QB sacks. They should still take the next step with their edge rushers, as they play in a division that had two 12+ win teams.
New Orleans Saints
It was well-rumored that the Saints were looking to acquire Kavyon Thibodeaux from the GMEN around the draft time. The Saints want another edge rusher, especially with Cameron Jordan unsigned. Chase Young is also injury prone. The Saints will likely not retain Taysom Hill, who plays a lot from the slot. Bowers can be the next Jimmy Graham and dominate from the slot.
Los Angeles Rams
Never say never.
The Los Angeles Rams love to make big trades more than anyone else. Matthew Stafford would be a lock to win MVP with Bowers in his offense. On defense, they would have the best edge rushing duo of all time. The Rams lost to the Seahawks in the Championship. It burns extra given they are in the same division. It’s time to keep their foot on the gas pedal.
