Who has the best DL in the league?

Defensive Lineman are modern day gladiators. They don’t hesitate to maul foes in their path. With that said, a fascinating question arises: who has the best DL in the league?
The Eagles make the strongest case for the best DL in the league. PFF dubbed the Eagles DL as the third best DL entering the season. However, I believe that they have only grown since then. We witnessed Jalen Carter single-handedly dismantle the Los Angeles Rams offense. He registered 2 sacks, 2 tackles for loss, and three QB hits. It’s no wonder that he made second-team All-Pro for his 2024 efforts. PFF handed Carter a 2024 grade of 74.1. Carter creates opportunities for his pals around him. The NT Jordan Davis is a younger version of Vince Wilfork. He plugs the hole often against offenses.
The edge players for the Eagles are none other than Josh Sweat (who is a FA this off-season) brought home 8 sacks last season! Nolan Smith also chipped in on the fun by unveiling 6.5 sacks. The scary part is that Smith is 24 years old and he’s just scratching the surface.
The Eagles have an unstoppable tush push on 4th down, but they also have the pieces to stop a QB sneak. They have arguably the best IDL combination in the league – which happens to be young – as well.
It may seem like Saquon Barkley (who was the best off-season FA signing) steals the spotlight, but let’s not forget about the Eagles somewhat underrated DL. They are missing Brandon Graham (who may return to the Super Bowl), but they still have quality depth on DL. The Eagles DL can’t only prey on Jayden Daniels on 3rd and long, but they need to stay discipline and contain the rookie QB.
The Eagles possessed a mean DL when they played in the Super Bowl against the Pats. It was the main reason they stopped TB12 on his key last drive. Perhaps the Eagles DL can regain some of that magic and win another Lombardi trophy.
The Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, and New York Jets also showcase elite defensive lines.
