Saints biggest foes in 2025

As you can tell, the Saints only play one juggernaut team in my opinion. This would be none other than the Buffalo Bills. The Saints have the second easiest schedule.
I believe that the Saints stack up quite well against the Bills. The Saints have slightly below average CBs. Well, the Bills are under this philosophy that they don’t need gifted WRs to win a Super Bowl. It won’t be perfect for the Saints against the Bills. The Saints need more certainty at the guard spot. Well, it will be a massive test early on for the Saints as they face the defensive tackle Ed Oliver. He had a slight rough patch in 2024, as he missed a few games. However, he unleashed 9.5 sacks and 13 QB hits in 2023.
If Baker Mayfield took better care of the football last season, he would have been a legit MVP candidate. Baker threw 41 touchdowns to 16 ints. The Saints need to have a better answer against the Bucs this upcoming season. The Bucs swept the Saints, including a game where the Bucs dropped 51 points against the Aints, last season.
The San Francisco 49ers have been an annoying bug for Saints fans. They scored on a touchdown with Vernon Davis to secure a playoff victory. Then they lost in heartbreaking fashion a few years ago where George Kittle dragged a few Saints defenders into field goal territory.
I don’t believe that the Seattle Seahawks are that scary. This goes to show that they don’t have a lethal schedule. If the Saints can lock down Cooper Kupp, it will be quite challenging for Sam Darnold to unleash havoc. The Saints are also familiar with the former Saints OC Klint Kubiak and his favorite plays.
Similar to the 49ers and Minnesota Vikings, the LA Rams have had the Saints number. They beat the Saints in illegal fashion in the playoffs many years ago. In Alvin Kamara’s rookie season, the Saints were taken down by the Rams, as well. The Rams could go all the way. I honestly believe that Davante Adams is an upgrade over Cooper Kupp.
