Ranking QBs in AFC East

Best QBs in the AFC East

By: Jake Rajala

The AFC East has a complex group of quarterbacks. There isn’t a lot of experience. Three of the QBs are 27 or younger. There is still not only talent but there’s unique talent. With that said, I’m going to rank QBs in the AFC East.

4. Justin Fields

I’m not high on the New York Jets putting all their eggs in the basket with Justin Fields. Fields has a 14-30 career record! He did have a 4-2 record last season, but he couldn’t quite shine. He was benched after a 4-2 start. I don’t believe that Tyrod Taylor is a worthy QB2 at this point in his career. I’d like to see the Jets trade for someone like Kenny Pickett.

3. Drake Maye

Drake May was the most overrated Pro Bowler in my opinion. It was safe to say that people in Massachusetts came out to vote, regardless of what he put on the field. Maye threw 15 TDs to 10 ints. He had a record of 3-9. He had an admirable completion percentage of 66.6.

2. Tua Tagovailoa

Tua needs to take one more final step! Tua had an insane NFL-leading completion percentage of 72.9 last season. He also had a league-leading 4,624 passing yards two seasons ago! Tua may have some flaws and he has struggled against winning teams. Let’s still not forget he has never had a losing season in his career! I believe he is still capable of putting it all together.

1. Josh Allen

Let’s cut to the chase. Josh Allen isn’t only the best QB in the AFC East. He is the best QB in the league. There is no debating that Allen deserved the MVP. Allen is gunslinger and a threat to run with the ball. He had 28 passing touchdowns and 12 rushing touchdowns last season! He also had a career-best six ints!
