Best WRs in AFC East
By: Jake Rajala
The AFC East has explosive and productive wide receivers. With that simply said, I’m going to rank the notable WRs in the AFC East.
1. Tyreek Hill
Tyreek Hill has caught attention for the wrong actions on the field. I believe a suspension may help. Nonetheless, he will likely bounce back and play a full season in the future. Hill is one of the best overall players in the league. Of course, he was voted as the top 100 player not too long ago!
2. Stefon Diggs
Stefon Diggs only played in eight games last season. Before that he recorded a 1k season in six straight seasons! He was first team All-Pro in 2020 and he also made the Pro Bowl in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. He will be heavily leaned on with a young QB named Drake Maye.
3. Jaylen Waddle
Jaylen Waddle is one of the best WR2s in the league. He had a bit of a hiccup last season, but he still has a rich past. He made three straight 1k yard seasons. He had 18.1 YPC as a sophomore! He has recorded 4,129 receiving yards in four straight seasons.
4. Garrett Wilson
Garrett Wilson is a stud WR, partially because he came from Ohio State. He won Offensive Rookie of The Year. He has 3,249 receiving yards in three seasons. I’d like to see him score more touchdowns, however.
5. Khalil Shakir
Khalil Shakier isn’t a fantastic wideout, but he will have plenty of chances as the WR1 in Buffalo! He managed to record 821 yards and four TDs last season. Khalil has still reached expectations as a fifth-round pick.
With that said, it’s clear the AFC East has a couple of prominent receiving weapons. I’d still love to see the Jets and Bills bring in more prominent WRs.
