Who will have the best pass rush?

The New York Giants, commonly known as the GMEN, have been superb at adding pass rushers over the past few seasons. They drafted Kavyon Thibodeaux in the 2022 NFL Draft. They then signed Brian Burns in the 2024 off-season. Then they kept the pedal to the metal by adding Abdul Carter, who will be flexing a “Darth Vader gesture” when he gets a sack. With that all said, a fascinating question surrounds the Giants: could they have the best pass rush?
Absolutely.
Abdul Carter is a DROY favorite. He has been compared to Von Miller due to his size and speed. He also wore the same number as Micah Parsons in college, so it’s hard to ignore that comparison. Abdul Carter is a highly gifted pass rusher, which means he can get some sacks without learning some moves. When he gets moves, he will be even more dangerous.
Travon Walker only had 3.5 sacks as a rookie, but he elevated his game by learning moves. He has gotten 10.5 sacks in each of the past two seasons.
Kavyon Thibodeaux is also a menace. He missed five games last season, so that held back a lot of production from him. However, he recorded 11.5 sacks, 16 QB hits, and 12 TFLs in 2023.
Brian Burns is a pillar of consistency. He has recorded at least 7.5 sacks in each season. Besides 8.5 sacks last season, Burns notched eight pass deflections! Yes, you read that correctly.
Every team seeks to have a few quality edge rushers, to keep them fresh. I’d love to see the Giants keep them three. However, they are likely to be a bottom five team. This means it could rebuild and Brian Burns could be the odd man out. I’d love to see the GMEN trade Burns and an early draft pick for someone like Tee Higgins, as Cincy is desperate for an edge rusher opposite Trey Hendrickson.
The Giants were 9th in sacks last season. Besides taking next steps with their profiles, they should feel comfortable with their division. Philly was 21st in sacks allowed and Washington was 20th last season.
