Hill potential trades
By: Jake Rajala
Tyreek Hill once said “I’m out” after a Week 18 loss. Of course, his comments also come after he had a season that was his least productive since his rookie campaign. With that said, It wouldn’t be a surprise if he gets flipped for early draft picks. Hence, I’m going to lay out potential trade destinations for him.
Washington Commanders
The Washington Commanders have been serious about building a Super Bowl contending roster. They brought in Marshon Lattimore in the middle of last season. Then they traded for Deebo Samuel in the off-season. Let’s not forget that they brought back Bobby Wagner and reeled in Von Miller. I’d love to see Scary Terry and Hill out-wide, while Samuel dominates in the slot and with touches at RB. Jayden Daniels is young, but his counterparts are getting too old for comfort.
San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers moved on from Deebo and Brandon Aiyuk may be on his way out next. So, there’s room for a WR in the offense. Kyle Shanahan also knows he needs to stay in the race for the best NFC West team. The LA Rams added Davante Adams to join Puka, while the Seattle Seahawks added Sam Darnold and Cooper Kupp.
Minnesota Vikings
The Rams and Bengals have their superb WR duo. It’s time for Justin Jefferson to have a fantastic sidekick. J.J. McCarthy will also need all the help he can get in his first year as a starter. Kevin O’Connell has said that J.J. has had a “phenomenal off-season” so far. The Vikings also need to make sure they have a roster that won’t get swept by the Detroit Lions.
Houston Texans
CJ Stroud needs more juice at WR, simple enough. Nico Collins, may have had 1,006 receiving yards, but he isn’t a Top-15 WR. Plus, Stefon Diggs isn’t in the building anymore. It’s time for the Texans to bring in a freak WR. Stroud also took a step back last season. Let’s avoid a nightmare scenario and bring him back to his rookie statline at the very least.
Kansas City Chiefs
“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”
Hill was a key reason that the Chiefs beat the 49ers in the Super Bowl. Well, they really missed him in their Super Bowl against the Eagles. The Chiefs will also need more dynamite after Travis Kelce retires, which will happen after one more season. Hill and Xavier Worthy would be the fastest WR duo of all time.
