Who will win OPOY?

The glorious MVP trophy is usually won by a QB. Well, the Offensive Player of The Year trophy is usually won by a non-quarterback. There is rare production by wide receivers right now. There may even be a WR that wins the award. With that said I’m going to unfold five WRs that can win OPOY.
Ja’Marr Chase
Joe Burrow threw for the most touchdowns and passing yards last season. He heavily leans on Ja’Marr Chase. The former LSU WR led the league in receptions (127), yards (1,708), and touchdowns (17) last season. The drawback is that 2024 was his only first-team All-Pro season.
Justin Jefferson
Not only has Justin Jefferson already won the award, but I believe he’s playing the best QB he’s had in his career in J.J. McCarthy. Jefferson had 1,533 yards, which was second among wideouts. The scary part is that Jefferson is only 26 years old!
Tyreek Hill
Tyreek Hill was voted as the best overall player not too long ago. Hill had 1,799 yards and 13 TDs in 2023, which led the league. I believe that Tua missing six games was a big reason Hill only had 959 yards last season. Don’t expect Hill to get around 123 targets in 2025.
Puka Nacua
Puka Nacua was the number one PFF WR last season, despite missing six games. He recorded 990 yards in 11 games! He would have led the league in receiving yards if he stayed healthy. Puka has one of the best offensive minds in the game in Sean McVay. Hopefully, McVay doesn’t retire.
DK Metcalf
DK Metcalf is the clear cut WR1 in an offense that has a Hall of Fame QB, Aaron Rodgers. Metcalf has had at least 900 yards in each season. He is quite the physical being. Rodgers will find him on countless red-zone fades.
Honorable Mention:
CeeDee Lamb
CeeDee Lamb has looked like the best WR in the league with a healthy Dak. He led the league in catches (135) in 2023 and he recorded 13 TDs, 1,749 yards in the same season. Lamb is in his prime at 26 years old.
