Best offensive triplets in NFC

Who has the best offensive triplet in the NFC?

By: Jake Rajala

The NFC is loaded with elite offensive casts, particuarly at QB, RB, and WR. With that said, I’m going to focus on offensive triplets and rank them.

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bucs have one of the best QB-WR tandems with Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans. Evans has 24 touchdowns combined in his past two seasons. He is a big reason Baker unleashed 41 touchdowns last season. Bucky Irving is a modest ball-carrier. He averaged 5.4 YPC and 1,122 rushing yards last season. PFF gave him a grade of 90.6! This was fourth among RBs.

4. Los Angeles Rams

Puka Nacua missed six games and he was still ranked first among WRs by PFF. The QB throwing to him is none other than Matthew Stafford. He can be shaky with his stats, but he is quite the clutch QB. Kyren Williams ran angry for 1,299 yards and 11 TDs last season.

3. San Francisco 49ers

If Christian McCaffrey can stay healthy, he’s a Top-3 RB. After all, he won OPOY in 2023. Brock Purdy is also worthy of his hefty contract. They don’t have Deebo Samuel anymore, but they still have Brandon Aiyuk, who is a Pro Bowl WR. Expect Aiyuk to get many more targets and be Top-10 in targets among the league.

2. Philadelphia Eagles

Jalen Hurts doesn’t put up Drew Brees numbers, but he is a quality dual-threat QB. He recorded 32 total touchdowns last season. Of course, Saquon Barkley won OPOY last season. He hogged the spotlight by jumping over defenders backward. A.J. Brown is one of the most dangerous WRs in space. He had a PFF grade of 90.9, which was third among WRs.

1. Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions have the most underrated QBs in Jared Goff. It’s a shame given how he unleashed 37 passing touchodwns last season. Jahmyr Gibbs has a chance to be a Top-5 RB, via his speed and elusiveness. As for their WR Amon St. Brown, he can dominate, even if foes really focus on him with double teams. He had 1,263 yards and 12 TDs last season.
