Is Love an elite QB?

Jordan Love was once seen as a bizarre pick given that they had a prime Aaron Rodgers. Fast forward to now, Love is leading the team out of the tunnel. Even if he’s their QB1, the question begs to ask: is Love an elite QB?
Well, I don’t quite believe so.
Over the past two seasons, Love has a record of 18-14. This is the same record as Geno Smith. Nobody is saying that Smith is a Top-15 QB.
Love doesn’t have daunting stats.
He was 19th in passing yards. Kirk Cousins and fellow rookie Caleb Williams unleashed more passing yards than him.
I will cut him some slack. He did have an admirable ranking when it came to passing touchdowns, as he was 11th in that category.
I still didn’t love how many interceptions he threw. He was 12th in interceptions thrown, which stands out.
Love has been a mediocre QB thus far. That is why he hasn’t made the Pro Bowl just yet. If he isn’t going to throw 30 TDs, he needs to take care of the football and not have double digit interceptions. For example: Justin Herbert only threw 23 TDs last season. However, he only threw 3 ints! Anybody with some sense would pick Herbert’s statline over Love’s statline.
Love was not sexy yesterday, to say the least. He went 1-5 for passing. He needs to have superb chemistry with Matthew Golden if he wants to elevate his game and lead the Packers to a division title.
Love is somewhere around the Top-15 to Top-20 ranking of QBs. We’ve seen slightly above average QBs win Super Bowls, such as Eli Manning and Joe Flacco. I expect the Packers to believe they can accomplish great things with Love, despite him being around an average QB. So, I don’t expect the Pack to trade Love or draft a QB early.
