Broncos: toughest games
By: Jake Rajala
The Denver Broncos are a Super Bowl contender heading into 2025. The vibes around Sean Payton and Bo Nix were similar to when Peyton Manning was in town. That doesn’t mean they are invincible. With that said, I’m going to lay out their five toughest match-ups.
Kansas City Chiefs
I will say the Broncos matchup at the Kansas City Chiefs stadium is their toughest match-up. The Chiefs are the reigning AFC Champions and they are bringing nearly everybody back. The Chiefs also barely beat the Broncos in their first battle last season, as KC blocked a DEN field goal. This game will be a blood-bath.
Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles mopped the floor against the Chiefs in the recent Super Bowl. That’s quite scary. I believe Jalen Carter will cement himself as a Top-3 IDL next season. Of course, Saquon Barkley will return with heavy motivation, and try to defy the Madden curse.
Cincinnati Bengals
It’s hard to ignore the fact that Joe Burrow led the league in passing yards and passing touchdowns last season. On defense, Trey Hendrickson led the league in sacks, with 17.5. They just have to be consistent and not turn the ball over. They also ranked 22nd in passing yards allowed last season. They can’t get in too many shoot-outs.
Washington Commanders
The Washington Commanders are one of the most underrated squads. Let’s not forget that they demolished the Lions in the playoffs. After adding Marshon Lattimore, they reeled in Deebo Samuel to help. Jayden Daniels looked quite sharp this training camp and preseason.
Green Bay Packers
Jordan Love will have his best supporting cast in his career yet. After adding Josh Jacobs to join Love, they drafted Matthew Golden in the 2025 first-round of 2025. Tucker Craft could be a Top-10 TE. Of course, the Pack recently brought in Micah Parsons, who could win DPOY in 2025.
