Quinn vs Sirianni

Dan Quinn and Nick Sirianni both led their teams to the NFC Championship last season. Each HC started 1-0 in spectacular fashion in Week 1. The Eagles took down Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, while the Commanders stomped the GMEN by a score of 21-6.
Quinn had an up-and-down tenure with the Atlanta Falcons. He went 8-8, 11-5, 10-6, and then things went south. After going 10-6, he went 7-9, 7-9, and then 0-5. It seemed like he wouldn’t get another HC gig.
The Commanders brought Quinn on board in 2024 after his success as the Cowboys defensive coordinator. He went 12-5 last season, which is impressive, especially with a rookie quarterback.
His offense ranked third in points and second in yards. His defense ranked first in PPG allowed!
There was only one HC that stood in front of Quinn in the NFC: Nick Sirianni. The Commanders were still able to beat the Eagles one in three meetings last season.
Sirianni has been one of the most dominant coaches since he stepped foot in the City of Brotherly Love. He went 9-8 in his rookie season, which is understandable. Afterward, he really took off. He went 14-3 and became NFC Champions. He then went 11-6 and 14-3 (which included a Super Bowl victory). In 2025, he started 1-0.
The Eagles have had a Top-10 offense in scoring four times. It won’t be easy to repeat offensive success without Kellen Moore, as he went to New Orleans this offseason. We witnessed the Lions offense really struggle in Week 1 without former OC Ben Johnson.
They still have Jalen Hurts, an unearthly WR duo, and the best RB in the league (in Saquon). Jalen isn’t a stat machine like Drew Brees or as clutch as Tom Brady, but he finds ways to make enough plays and bring his team a victory.
Quinn could honestly catch Sirianni in my opinion. However, Nick has the edge right now. They both have young franchise QBs, so they should be competitive for a long time. I’m looking forward to more of their battles. Perhaps each team will be in the NFC Championship again.
