Trade Travis Hunter right now?

Travis Hunter was one of the most athletic profiles to come out of the 2025 NFL Draft. After all, he did win the Heisman as a WR/CB. At the pro level, it seemed he would play WR and CB. Well, he has been a far below productive WR, and he hasn’t made many plays at CB.
In the fantasy world, he has been a giant bust. After I drafted him in dynasty, he has failed to live up to expectations. He went from 9.30 points, to 5.20 points, to 3.10 points in his first three games. Hence, he has been going in the wrong direction.
This all poses an enormous question: Is it time to trade Travis Hunter?
I would keep him this season. I am most certainly taking him out of the starting lineup until he gets 15+ points for numerous weeks in a row, however. He has been explosive with limited reps, which is fascinating.
It’s hard to predict how much more success he could have at WR if he’s only worrying about the WR playbook and spending more time improving his craft at WR. It’s also worth noting the Jags don’t have the most glorifying WRs on the roster. Hunter could be the WR2 if he solely plays wideout.
I also like their division outlook. They just beat the Texans, and they play the Titans twice. The Colts offense is quite explosive, but they do surrender a lot of points, at the same time.
If you decide to trade Hunter, I would request a first round pick and a modest flex player at the same time. It’s important to remember that he is gifted. The Jags just have to find a way to give him the ball more in space.
An offseason could work wonders for Hunter, as well. It’s mostly the mental part of the game that is holding Hunter back. Not many people have tried to play two positions, which requires twice as much mental and physical work.
