WRs to buy and sell in Week 4 in dynasty

WRs to buy and sell

By: Jake Rajala

The dynasty sphere is heating up on this Thursday night. Sunday is right around the corner. With that said, I’m going to talk about the wide receiver position. I’m going to cover which WRs to buy and sell in Week 4.

Drake London: Sell

It was hard to miss the Atlanta Falcons drop a goose egg against the Carolina Panthers last week. Drake London is a talented wideout, who’s sitting in the mess. He may have a QB change, which makes it hard to project how well he can handle it. He is the 44th best WR, but he has youth on his side. I believe he’s worth a second round pick.

Chris Olave: Buy

It may be hard to buy Chris Olave, but it’s worth it. He’s first in the league in targets. Rattler is also third in passing attempts. I believe that Olave is the future of the offense, as Alvin Kamara is 30 years old and not getting any younger. Olave has had many concussions, so hopefully he can stay healthy.

Deebo Samuel: Buy

Deebo Samuel had a season low performance in Week 3 with 4.9 pts. Let’s not forget that Jayden Daniels is hurt and not playing. I still have a lot of faith in Samuel. He can get the ball in a variety of ways. Terry McLaurin is also struggling to get involved. Samuel is 29, however. I still believe he has a few seasons left in him. We’ve witnessed the swiss army knife, Taysom Hill, shine at 34 years old.

Tre Tucker: Sell

Tre Tucker is a solid WR3, rather than a WR1 that looks like a Hall of Famer. Tre had roughly 40 pts last week. I believe he could get double digit pts every other week, but he’s not going to finish as a Top-10 WR, especially with defenses focusing on him, and Brock Bowers still looking to get fed. Ashton Jeanty should also get more involved, too.

Xavier Worthy: Buy

The Chiefs offense is in desperate need of a quality receiving threat. They miss DeAndre Hopkins and Travis Kelce is a tad washed up. Well, there is good news: Xavier Worthy will return for their match-up against the Baltimore Ravens. He is their 2024 first round pick. He has a ton of potential and he should lead the team in targets.

DK Metcalf: Sell

DK Metcalf has been quite average. He has gotten 12 pts, 11 pts, and then 12 pts. I don’t love how Aaron Rodgers is playing. He had 203 passing yards in Week 2 and then 193 passing yds in Week 3. He also plays in a gutsy division, where he faces a tough Ravens and Browns secondary. Rodgers will also be retiring after the season, so it’s uncertain how talented of a QB he will have.

As you can tell, I touched on many different types of WRs. I also spoke about WRs from all sorts of divisions. I hope I helped by looking at the short term and long term situaton for the wideouts. With that said, I hope Week 4 can bring home a hefty performance from one of your WRs.
