7 last minute waiver targets in Week 4

Last minute waiver adds

By: Jake Rajala

Week 4 is upon us. Well, I’m going to be your fantasy friend until kickoff at 9:30 in London. I’m going to lay out several last minute waiver adds.

KaVontae Turpin

Turpin has a lot of potential. He had 15.3 pts in Week 2 and then 8.8 pts last week. Well, he’s due for another hefty role with Ceedee Lamb on the sidelines. He will be starting in a primetime game, so expect a lot of points.

Darren Waller

Jaylen Waddle has raved about the potential of Darren Waller. Of course, Waller is returning and making his debut in Week 4 against the Jets. Waller was once a Top-5 TE. We all remember Gronk returning and making a significant impact. I believe Waller could have a similar path.

Carson Wentz

Carson Wentz could be an admirable deep league starter. Carson Wentz had a modest Week 3 performance against the Bengals with 2 TD passes. I believe he will take it up a notch, as it’s the best opportunity he’s had in a few years. He could take J.J. McCarthy’s spot.

Sterling Shepard

Sterling Shepard had 7.4 pts two weeks ago and then 12 pts last week. He should have at least five targets again this Sunday, especially without Mike Evans. Shepard could follow in the footsteps of Russell Gage, who was once a menace at the WR3 spot, with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.

Spencer Rattler

Spencer Rattler was PFF’s 10th best QB entering Week 3. I don’t believe he should be sacrificed for his entire team failing him in Week 4. I believe Rattler can have a statement game against the reigning MVP in Josh Allen. Rattler had 22 pts against a stingy 49ers defense a couple of weeks ago.

Justin Fields

Justin Fields would be a fine addition in deep leagues. He recorded 29.5 pts in Week 1. He is coming back from a concussion, and he should be ready to make an impact in Week 4. Fields still has a lot of potential at 26 years old.

Marcus Mariota

The former Heisman winner Marcus Mariota had a pleasent Week 3 performance, as he unleashed 20 pts. In Week 4, he should do well against a Falcons defense that gave up 30 pts a week ago. Week 4 should be the last week we see Jayden Daniels off the field, however.
