Young QBs in dynasty to target

The dynasty realm is heating up. Trades and waiver targets are steaming up at this point in the season. I’m going to talk about the pivotal position (quarterback) in this piece. In particular, I’m going to discuss young, underrated QBs to target.
Daniel Jones
Daniel Jones is the oldest quarterback on the list (as he’s 28). He’s the eighth-best QB right now in Sleeper. He’s had four games above 15 pts and “two games above 22 pts”. Danny Dimes threw a pair of touchdowns in Week 5. He should get an impact from Alec Pierce when he returns from a concussion. He will only grow in this offense that averages 32.6 PPG.
CJ Stroud
CJ Stroud has warmed up to me as of late. He had his best single season performance in Week 4 by way 18.42 pts. Well, he even topped that showcase by unleashing 28.76 points in Week 5. Stroud has a PFF grade of 71.9, which is 24th among QBs. Stroud is still 24 years old. He’s on pace for 29 touchdowns this season, which would be a career-high figure.
Bo Nix
I drafted Bo Nix, and I didn’t reap his rewards right away. He had a monster performance of 26 points in Week 4 and then he had a somewhat average outing in Week 5 with 17 pts. However, he played against the Eagles defense in Week 5, which is one of the best defenses. Nix still remains a QB worth a second round pick at the very least. He had a slow start last season, but he turned on the jets in the back-half. He could very well turn things around again. After all, his head coach is still Sean Payton.
Caleb Williams
Ben Johnson is arguably a Top-5 play-caller. He’s tapping into all of the potential of the former first overall pick, Caleb Williams. Williams recorded 24 pts in Week 1 and then 29.12 pts in Week 3. He had his worst showing last week, where he threw 12.78 points. I wouldn’t doubt him after that fluke. Perhaps his fantasy owner would mistake it for a lack of talent and give an easier deal.
Trevor Lawrence
T-Lawrence, also known as the QB who likes to pick his nose, is on fire. After beating the once undefeated San Francisco 49ers, Lawrence took down the Kansas City Chiefs! Lawrence also recorded his best performance of the season in 27 pts against the Chiefs. He has been on a roller coaster, similar to all of the QBs on this list. I believe an x-factor for him is Travis Hunter. He is slowly getting more involved in the offense.
Drake Maye
Of course, Drake Maye has his worst performance of the season after I acquire him in a trade. He had three straight games of at least 20 points. Then he decides to unleash 12 pts in Week 5. Yikes. He is still the 7th best QB. He still has Stefon Diggs, who had 10 grabs for 146 yards. I fully expect the Pats to bring in more ammunition in the offseason to help their 23 year old QB. Can he be the next Tom Brady? Time will tell.
Jayden Daniels
Make no mistake: the 24 year old Jayden Daniels is a stud. He has three games where he recorded at least 17 points. Not only is he a dual-threat QB with a high ceiling, but he’s playing with one arm behind his back. The regular Pro Bowler, Terry McLaurin, can’t connect with him, and Austin Ekeler is on IR. He has a PFF grade of 78.5, which is admirable.
