Jaguars fantasy outlook

There are plenty of gifted and physical players on the Jaguars offense. It starts with the play-calling, then it trickles down to the quarterback, and so forth. The Jags offense is as ferocious as their defense once was, back when they were called Sacksonville. Well, I’m going to discuss the Jags offense and fantasy outlook.
Trevor Lawrence
Trevor Lawrence is beginning to live up to the expectations as a first overall pick. He may not be a stat machine, but he is clutch and can make something out of nothing. He has had two games with 20+ points, but he’s also had two games of 11 points and one game of eight points. The only reason why I believe T-Lawrence is intriguing is because of Travis Hunter in the offense. He is slowly getting more involved. He’s a freak athlete if that wasn’t already obvious. Lawrence has a PFF grade of 67.1, which is 32nd among 55 QBs.
Travis Etienne
The former Clemson RB Travis Etienne looked like a bust after his first couple of seasons. Well, he’s putting it all together right now. He had three games above 16 pts. His worst outcome was 9.6 pts, which isn’t the end of the world. He had 19 points in Week 4, which was his most productive game. He only had 12 carries last week, which was his worst showcase. He has a PFF grade of 76.7. This pegs him as the eighth-best RB. Make no mistake: Etienne should not be exchanged. Not only is he elite, but he’s 26 years old. He’s in his prime.
Brian Thomas Jr.
It seemed like we all forgot who Brian Thomas Jr. was. Well, he’s coming on as the true WR1 for the Jags. He had 10.6 points in Week 4 and then 12 pts in Week 5. His ceiling is still much higher. His worst game was 7.5 points. As long as Travis Hunter takes to blossom, Brian can pick up the slack. He isn’t going to torch a defense, but he can be reliable on 3rd downs across the middle of the field. I would hold onto Brian. He may score 10+ points in each game, similar to Chris Olave. It’s vital to lean on a weapon like Thomas. He’s more reliable than Justin Blackmon once was.
Travis Hunter
As a Travis Hunter owner, I know it’s crucial to be patient. He will get more and more reps as time moves on. Hunter had a season high of 9.4 points last game. It’s a tad embarrasing that is his season high. He had a season high of 8 targets in Week 1. For some reason, he hasn’t had more targets in a game thus far. I wouldn’t recommend moving Hunter. You may be able to move Hunter and a third round pick for a second round pick. Or perhaps one could trade him for a third round pick. I would only recommend moving him for a player and a pick, or an early pick. I wouldn’t cut him or trade him for an average WR
It’s quite impressive that the Jags have done enough on offense to beat the 49ers and the Chiefs. Etienne is their engine. It will be quite relieving when Hunter starts to grow and be involved a lot more in the offense. I would still like to see the Jags bring in more weapons at the WR and TE spot. They didn’t properly replace Evan Engram.
Let it also be known that the Jags have given up the third fewest sacks. It’s important to have a stellar OL if you want to be able to utilize the Jags weapons to their highest potential. The Jags OL is also young.
