7 players to trade for in Week 7 in dynasty

Players to target in Week 7

By: Jake Rajala

The NFL season is heating up. We’re seeing underdogs beat elite teams and some teams climb out of a hole. It’s important to stay on your toes in the dynasty and fantasy world. It’s trade season. I really like how my dynasty squad is doing after trading for the ascending Drake Maye and very elite Ja’Marr Chase a couple of weeks ago. Well, I’m going to lay out some players to target for you diehard dynasty fans to acquire to win your league.

Aaron Jones

The former Green Bay Packer Aaron Jones is set to return after the bye week. He may be 30 years old, but he’s coming off a monster season. He had 15 games of at least 9.8 points. He wanted to carry it over into 2025. That he did. He scored 15 points in Week 1. Unfortunately, he suffered a hamstring injury in Week 2. I suppose J.J. McCarthy, who will return very soon, will check it down to his safety valve often at this stage in his career.

Trey McBride

Trey McBride is 25 years old, and he has played like a Top-5 TE all season. Well, he’s showing no sign of slowing down. He scored a season high 21.2 points last Sunday. He had eight receptions, which was the most he’s had in a game all season. Even with WR Marvin Harrison Jr, there is plenty of bread to go around.

Jaxson Dart

The GMEN’s first round pick Jaxson Dart has played well after replacing Russell Wilson. He has had 19.84, 17.58, and 23.60 points over the past three weeks. He’s made a lot of magic with his legs. He has had 54, 55, and 58 rushing yards over the prior three weeks. The 22 year old is growing alongside fellow 2025 third round pick, Cam Skattebough.

Chris Olave

I’m still waiting for Chris Olave to score below 10 points, but that has yet to happen. He’s had 12.4, 11.4, 15.7, 10, 12.9, and 15.8 points this season. With Spencer Rattler being Top-5 in completions, it’s impossible to hurt their chemistry. Rashid Shaheed has really burst onto the scene, with his 87 yard TD, but that hasn’t slowed down Olave.

Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos defense has played with its hair on fire. They are coming off a 13 point win. They have also scored 16 points in a game before. Nik Bonnito is a dark horse DPOY candidate. Of course, Patrick Surtain won the award last season.

Travis Hunter

This may seem laughable. However, it should be fairly easy to acquire the Jaguars second overall pick in 2025, Travis Hunter. Perhaps you can flip a second rounder for him. He’s shown the ability to make cream of the crop catches and juke defenders in space, but he just isn’t getting enough opportunities yet. There may be many owners that are impatient with the rookie.

Jayden Daniels

Jayden Daniels is back and better than ever. He unleashed 22.64 points in his latest Prime Time contest. He was impressive, despite having two fumbles and an interception. His worst performance of the season was when he had 17 points. He’s going to be a regular Pro Bowl QB in the nation’s capital.
