10 Dynasty Risers and Fallers in Week 10

Dynasty risers and fallers

By: Jake Rajala

There are many dynasty profiles to cover. Many dynasty figures are rising, while some are falling and losing stock fast. With that said, I’m going to cover several dynasty risers and fallers.

Risers:

Rashid Shaeed

Rashid Shaheed should be unlocked in Klint Kubiak’s offense in Seattle. At the very least, Sam Darnold is an elite QB. He is superior to Tyler Shough or Spencer Rattler, to say the least. Shaheed has registered 14.5 and 11.8 points over the past two weeks. I like his floor, as he’s only scored below 8 points once. Jaxon Smith-Njigba should open up things for Shaheed.

Alec Pierce

Let’s get my benchwarmer out of the way. Alec Pierce is quite an explosive and streaky wideout. He had 14.8 points in Week 7 and then 8.9 points in Week 8, so it seemed questionable which WR we are getting. Well, he unleashed 17.5 points last Sunday. I believe it’s fair to say he’s not all over the map. He had a season high 13 targets, which explains his production. At 25 years old, he has a bright future ahead of him.

RJ Harvey

I was a bit skeptical regarding RJ Harvey’s outlook, especially given that he was pedestrian for six of his first seven games. Well, he may have turned the corner. He brought home 16.6 points last Sunday, which came after he scored 24.1 points in Week 8. In Week 8, he unleashed two rushing TDs. Things were different in Week 9, as he had a season high of 5 catches. He also had a TD in Week 9.

Derrick Henry

I was quite worried about Derrick Henry’s outlook after his fumble issues. Well, he has been spot on over the prior few weeks. He has had 14, 19, and 13 points over the pat few weeks. I love his schedule, as he plays the Vikings, Browns, and Jets in his next few weeks.

Ashton Jeanty

Ashton Jeanty had his second best performance in Week 9. He ran angry for 19.9 points. He was on the field for 91% of the time, which was a season high. He had 13 carries, which wasn’t daunting. However, he got five receptions, which was the second most he’s had in a single game this season.

Fallers:

Matthew Golden

Matthew Golden hasn’t appeared to be the second coming of Desean Jackson. He hasn’t scorched foes as of late. He’s merely scored 7.7, 3.4, and 2.9 points in his past few games. He only has 10 targets in his past three games. The door can’t be shut on Matthew. After all, Travis Hunter was the second overall pick and he has one game above 10 points.

Nick Chubb

Nick Chubb is a shell of his once self. In Week 7, he had 2.10 points. He then had 8.9 points in Week 8 and 3.4 points in Week 9. He has been MIA in two of his past three showdowns. He only has two games above 10 points. Furthermore, he is 29 years old, which means retirement is on the horizon.

Marcus Mariota

Marcus Mariota isn’t the same Heisman winner or QB with a winning record in Tennessee. He had 4.92 points in Week 7 and 13.2 points in Week 8. This comes after he had a streak of 20.28 points in Week 3 and 17.24 points in Week 4. Mariota is still 32 years old, so there’s some time for him to turn things around.

Jaguars defense

The Jags defense isn’t the same defense we saw when they were called “Sacksonville”. The Jags defense has unleashed 7,2, and -4 points over the past three games. They need Travon Walker to play like an All-Pro defender. He should be furious when he sees Aidan Hutchinson, who was a part of his draft class, play like a Top-5 DE.

Jerry Jeudy

It’s time to put a nail in Jerry Jeudy’s coffin. He is coming off his worst two worst game stretch this season. He scored 3.7 points and then he scored a massive zero. Yes, you read that correctly. He has also notched one game above 10 points this season. His QB situation is one of the bottom five groups in the league, as well.
