3 RBs to trade for, 3 RBs to trade away in Week 12

Breaking down many RBs

By: Jake Rajala

The dynasty season is heating up. Playoffs are around the corner. With that said, I’m going to discuss the glorious running back spot. I’m going to unveil three RBs to trade away and three RBs to trade for.

Trade Away:

Sean Tucker

Sean Tucker scored 34 points last week! Sure, he may be on the verge of more playing time, but I can’t imagine he scores anywhere near 34 points anytime soon. It was his only game above 10.2 points on the season. Plus, Bucky Irving should return this week, which will really hamper Tucker’s production.

Kenneth Walker

I’m far from sold on Kenneth Walker. Before scoring 20.1 points last week, he didn’t score any games at or above 20 points. Furthermore, Walker has been 4.7 points in Week 6, 6.6 points in Week 7, 8.1 points in Week 9, and 8 points in Week 11. I’m not sold on Walker transcending into Marshawn Lynch.

Alvin Kamara

I believe Alvin Kamara is on his last legs. He doesn’t have the same power or tackle breaking ability that he once had. He had 5.9 points against Chicago, 6.5 points in Week 8, 0.70 points in Week 9, and 14.50 points in Week 10. He has one rushing touchdown on the season and he hasn’t recorded more than three grabs since Week 6.

Trade For:

Derrick Henry

King Henry was on a fumble spree to kick off the season. Well, it appears that he may have turned the corner. He had 19.10 points in Week 8, 13 points in Week 9, 11.4 points in Week 10, and 20 points in Week 11. Most importantly, the Ravens are feeding Henry. He has 21 carries in Week 8, 19 carries in Week 9, 20 points in Week 10, and 18 carries last week.

Travis Etienne

Travis Etienne is a true all-purpose RB. He’s one of the key reasons they can thrive without Travis Hunter and why they are sitting above the Chiefs in the playoff race. He had 16.50 points, 15.7 points, and 19.3 points over the past three contests. The Jags are gaining more confidence in Etienne as he has 22 carries, 16 carries, and 19 carries over the past few games.

Rico Dowdle

Rico Dowdle has proven not to be a fluke after having 32 points and 33 points in back to back games. He has had 28 points, 15 points, and 15 points over his past three games. Even with Bryce Young breaking a Panthers record for most passing yards in a single game, there’s room for Dowdle to dominate. Dowdle is the best RB the Panthers have had since CMAC.
