Is Wes Welker Canton bound?

Wes Welker was one of the best slot wide receivers in his time. He was deeply trusted by Tom Brady. In 2017, he made his start as a New England Patriot. He had the most catches in the league in his first Patriot season, as he unleashed 112 grabs. In the same season, he was third in OPOY voting!
He made his first Pro Bowl in 2008, by way of 111 catches and 1,165 yards. Welker would go on to have four more Pro Bowl seasons. Yes, you read that correctly!
Brady wasn’t the only Hall of Fame QB that Welker played with. He played with Peyton Manning in 2013. Welker recorded 10 touchdowns in 2013, despite missing a few games. Hence, he picked up where he left off.
With that said, the ultimate question surrounds Welker: Is he an Hall of Famer?
I believe it’s worth comparing Welker to Michael Thomas. Welker has a few more Pro Bowls to his name, but Thomas has the same amount of All-Pro nods (2). Furthermore, MT has been named Offensive Playero of the Year after making the reception record. His OPOY award has to be equal to a few Pro Bowls, at least.
Well, I don’t believe Thomas has done enough to garner an Hall of Fame spot. So, should Welker be a HOFer?
Not only has Welker not been productive enough in the regular season, he is one of the few Patriots to play with Tom Brady and not win a Super Bowl. Matter of fact, he’s remembered for dropping a critical pass in the Super Bowl. He is 0-3 in Super Bowls. Yes, you read that correctly. Let’s not forget that Randy Moss didn’t win a Super Bowl, too.
Welker has also not been inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame. I would expect him to not be inducted. He doesn’t have the stats or Super Bowl glory as the likes of Gronk.
