Last minute waiver adds in Week 13

Waiver wire adds in Week 13

By: Jake Rajala

Let’s not throw in the towel in dynasty or fantasy football. There is time to improve one’s roster until Week 13 begins. With that said, I’m going to lay out five last minute waiver adds in Week 13.

Shedeur Sanders

Shedeur Sanders isn’t a Pro Bowler quite yet. However, he has flashed greatness already. He’s made more quality deep throws than a 2024 Deshaun Watson. Kevin Stefanksi has already announced that he will start moving forward. The impressive part is that Sanders has had little ammunition. It’s time to build around him to see how he can compete with real toys.

Theo Johnson

Theo Johnson has proven to be a consistent threat at TE. Johnson has unleashed 10+ points in three of his last four contests. He is a borderline Top-10 TE. Furthermore, he’s playing well with a putrid QB situation. Theo is only in his second season.

New Orleans Saints defense

Who Dat said the Saints defense surrendered? The Saints may have the worst NFL offense. Nonetheless, their defense has no quit in it. The Saints defense has had 12 points in back to back showdowns. Their secondary isn’t getting burnt. Chase Young has also turned on the heat.

Tyler Loop

Don’t be fooled. Tyler Loop is still a very productive kicker. Sure, he had 2 points on Thanksgiving. Well, he had 13 points in Week 10, 12 points in Week 11, and 11 points in Week 12. He’s worth an acquisition and a start. Let’s not forget he’s a rookie, as well.

Zonovan Knight

The Arizona Cardinals RB Zonovan Knight had 14.5 points in Week 11 and 13.2 points in Week 12. He’s involved in the running and passing game. He’s had 10 carries in two of his past three games. Furthermore, he’s had four catches in back to back contests.

Honorable Mention:

Miami Dolphins

If you want to look short term, look no further than the Miami Dolphins. They play the abysmal Saints offense in Week 13. The Phins have also scored 15 points in Week 10 and 8 points in Week 11. They are coming off a bye week.
