Do the Cowboys have the best WR tandem?

Do the Boys have the best WR duo?

The Dallas Cowboys may have lost to the Detroit Lions on TNF, but there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic about the Boys. For starters, they have two elite WRs in George Pickens and Ceedee Lamb. Pickens is currently second in the league in receiving yards with 1,179 yards and he also has eight receiving touchdowns. Meanwhile, Lamb is seventh in the league in receiving yards. They both are impressive deep threats. Pickens has 18 catches of 20+ yards, while Lamb has 13 grabs of 20+ yards.

With that enunciated, a pivotal question arises: Do the Boys have the best WR tandem in the league?

I previously pegged the Bengals with the best WR tandem, but my feelings have changed. It’s hard to doubt the Boys WR tandem, after the rise of George Pickens. He is playing like a second-team AP WR at minimum. He may even be first team AP. Pickens will be a free agent in 2026. It would be mind-boggling if he doesn’t return to the Boys, given the chemistry he has there.

The Detroit Lions WR tandem is quietly growing, especially in key moments. Amon Ra St. Brown is fourth in receiving yards, and Jameson Williams sits right outside the Top-10 (at 13) in receiving yards. Brown also has nine touchdowns, while Williams has six TDs!

The Philadelphia Eagles have two Top-10 WRs in my opinion in AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith. I just don’t have a lot of faith in Jalen Hurts reaching their full potential.

I would like to see the Jaylen Waddle with a healthy Tyreek Hill. However, I believe it would be a similar case as the Eagles WR tandem, as they both suffer from a lack of a high powered pocket passer. Hill is also on the unfriendly side of 30.

If the Boys can retain Pickens after making a couple of big trades on defense, they could make a serious run at winning their division next season. They have improved over the past few games, but I’m afraid it’s too late for them this season.
