Is Davante Adams a future Hall of Famer?

Is Tae headed to Canton?

Davante Adams is like fine wine. He continues to shine, regardless of his age (which is 33). Tae recorded the most receiving touchdowns this season, with 14. This means he has 117 receiving TDs in his career! It’s his third time that he’s led the league in receiving TDs. It’s safe to say he was a Pro Bowl snub this season. He has been named first-team All-Pro three times in his career! Tae is a Top-3 WR2 right now. Of course, Puka Nacua is the alpha WR.

Make no mistake, George Pickens is the best WR2 in the league.

With that said, a pivotal question arises: Is Adams a future Hall of Famer? I wouldn’t say he’s quite a first ballot Hall of Famer, but he does deserve a spot in football paradise, in my opinion. I wouldn’t put him up there with Calvin Johnson or Jerry Rice, but I’d say he stacks up well to the likes of Chris Carter, who has been named first team AP twice in his career. Tae has six Pro Bowl nods, while Carter has eight.

The scary part is that Tae is on the verge of getting his first Super Bowl ring. If he can combine his production with a Lombardi trophy, he should be a sure-fire Hall of Famer. If he can win a couple of rings, then I would have to cement him as a first ballot HOFer.

Tae is surrounded by Hall of Fame talent. Matthew Stafford will surely make it into Canton at some point. Sean McVay will most likely make into the Hall of Fame. Puka is quite young, but he’s still arguably the best WR in the league right now.
