Where will Alec Pierce play next?
By: Jake Rajala
Alec Pierce was one of the best stories in 2025. The Indianapolis Colts WR is one of the most explosive wide receivers in the league. He averaged 21.3 YPC, which was the most in the league. He is only 25 years old, so he is in his prime. With that said, he is a free agent, and I’m going to lay out the best landing spots for him.
Indianapolis Colts
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. The Colts couldn’t put up enough points with Pierce in their division. They can’t afford to let him go. They may not get Daniel Jones back, too. Michael Pittman Jr. is a physical beast that can win 50/50 balls, but Pierce is the WR that can take the top off the defense.
Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders have Brock Bowers at TE and Ashton Jeanty at RB. They just need a spark at the WR spot. They need another weapon for (I assume) Fernando Mendoza. The Raiders ranked 32nd in PPG. It’s time for them to load up and take down an AFC West team, which is far from easy. The Chargers and Broncos made the playoffs and the Chiefs have a Patrick Mahomes.
New Orleans Saints
The Saints traded Rashid Shaheed. Perhaps they can replace the speed demon with a new deep threat. Tyler Shough could very well win Offensive Rookie of the Year. He can take the next step and be a true Pro Bowl QB with a little more help. Kellen Moore had an elite WR tandem with AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith. He loves to have two superb wideouts.
Los Angeles Rams
I’d love to see the LA Rams bring in more weapons. The Rams could absolutely have the new Greatest Show on Turf with Pierce. After all, they have Davante Adams, who can dazzle in the red zone. Then they have Puka Nacua, who can run any route and take jet sweeps. They have to be able to go blow for blow with the Seahawks.
Tennessee Titans
Cam Ward can take the next step with more friends. Ward has freak-ish upside. He can make exotic throws from many angles. Calvin Ridley isn’t a Pro Bowl WR. Elic Ayomanor isn’t a true WR2 either. I’d love to see the Titans get Alec Pierce and have a true chance to stand out in their division.
