Top 10 teams post 2026 NFL Draft

Best teams post 2026 NFL Draft

By: Jake Rajala

The 2026 NFL Draft is in the books. Some teams really boosted their roster, while some laid flat. With that said, I’m going to take a deep dive and lay out the top 10 teams post the 2026 NFL Draft.

1. Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks filled their biggest need (running back) in the first round with the selection of Jadarian Price. The former Notre Dame ball-carrier had 11 rushing TDs last season. I’m not saying he’s as potent as Kenneth Walker, but he can be a quality three down back. He had a total athletic score of 75 on NFL.com. The only concern I have with the Hawks is that their 2025 offensive coordinator, Klint Kubiak, left to be the Raiders head coach.

2. Buffalo Bills

I really liked the two early picks by the Buffalo Bills, which were TJ Parker and Davison Igbinosun. Parker can be a fine replacement for Joey Bosa. Davison can properly replace Tre’Davious White. Parker can be a regular Pro Bowler for the Bills Mafia.

3. Los Angeles Rams

I didn’t love the pick of QB TJ Walker. I would have liked to see the pick of TE Kenyon Sadiq or WR Makai Lemon. Nonetheless, they are still a Top-5 NFL team. With Stafford, Puka Nacua, and Davante Adams, they can unleash a lot of havoc. They recently traded for CB Trent McDuffie. He will be a pivotal asset in the wild NFC West.

4. Denver Broncos

It’s hard to root against Sean Payton. He knows how to manage a football team, just how Steve Jobs knew how to manage a tech company. If Bo Nix didn’t get hurt in the playoffs, I believe they would have won the Super Bowl. On defense, Vance Joseph’s unit had more sacks than any other team. Joseph and Payton are a sharp combination.

5. Kansas City Chiefs

I can’t imagine that the Chiefs struggle for another season. They brought back Travis Kelce and signed K9 in free agency. In the draft, they replaced Trent McDuffie with the pick of Mansoor Delane and also added Peter Woods to help Chris Jones on the DL. If Mahomes isn’t ready for Week 1, Andy Reid should light up defenses with the dual threat QB Justin Fields.

6. Detroit Lions

I’m not betting against the Detroit Lions to miss the playoffs in 2026. This is still a team that could have won it all in 2024-2025 if they weren’t missing half their defense. The Lions have one of the best offensive triplets. On defense, they have one of the best pass rushers in Aidan Hutchinson. I like their first round pick (Blake Miller). He should help slow down Micah Parsons.

7. New England Patriots

Let’s not forget that the Patriots won the AFC Championship last season. They still have a young, elite QB in Drake Maye. Furthermore, it appears AJ Brown is headed to the Pats. They also ranked third in PPG allowed last season. So, do not sleep on the Pats in 2026.

8. Baltimore Ravens

I don’t love the direction with Derrick Henry. I believe he will take a step back, just as how Alvin Kamara did last season. It’s still hard to ignore Lamar Jackson, who is pushing for a case to make the Hall of Fame. On defense, they have Marlon Humphrey and Kyle Hamilton. Hence, their pass defense is hard to break.

9. New Orleans Saints

The Saints were 5-4 under Tyler Shough last season. I expect him to take further steps with his new toys. The Saints added Travis Etienne in free agency and then drafted Jordyn Tyson, Oscar Delp, and Bryce Lance in the draft. The Saints could still bring back Cam Jordan, too. I also believe the Saints play in one of the weakest divisions.

10. San Francisco 49ers

I love the overall offseason by the 49ers. They brought in Mike Evans. The 49ers arguably have the best offensive triplet in the league. It’s a shame they didn’t have a first round pick, however. Hopefully, Nick Bosa and George Kittle can stay healthy. I would also like to see them trade away Mac Jones for an early pick or impact player.
