Toughest games on the Saints schedule

The New Orleans found life with Tyler Shough last season. He went 5-4 as the starting quarterback. Hopefully, they can take the next step. With that said, I’m going to lay out the most challenging games on the Saints schedule next season.
Saints at Lions
It’s bound to be a blood-bath between the Saints and the Lions in Week 1. Jared Goff has arguably been a Top-5 QB as of late. They also have a freak of nature on the Lions defense by the name of Aidan Hutchinson. Hutch had a PFF grade of 91.8 last season. The Saints have two young offensive tackles (Taliese Fuaga and Kelvin Banks). So, they will need to have a career performance if they want to win this showdown.
Steelers at the Saints
I can’t wait to see the old man, Aaron Rodgers, handle the crowd noise in the Saints stadium. The Steelers have a pair of quality wideouts (DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman). The Saints CB2 is Quincy Riley. He’s the weak link on the Saints defense. T.J. Watt will also look to feast in this showdown.
Packers at the Saints
The Green Bay Packers should have Micah Parsons by the middle of next season. The Pack also have a quality trio of WRs (Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, and Jayden Reed). Jordan Love has proven to be one of the most underrated QBs in the league, too. The question is: Will Josh Jacobs be available for this showdown?
Saints at the Ravens
The Ravens have the former Saint Trey Hendrickson. They also have Kyle Hamilton, Marlon Humphrey, Roquan Smith, Malaki Starks on defense. We know the man that runs the show on offense, Lamar Jackson. Derrick Henry is also not human. Mark Andrews has had some sad drops, but he’s still an elite TE.
Saints at Bengals
Joe Burrow is the second best QB in my opinion. I would only rank Patrick Mahomes above him. His connection with Ja’Marr Chase is the best QB-WR chemistry in the league. Of course, Tee Higgins is also an impressive WR2. They no longer have the All-Pro pass rusher Trey Hendrickson, but they still have Dexter Lawrence and Jonathan Allen on the DL.
Carolina Panthers at the Saints
The Saints need to beat the NFC South winner from last season, if they want to be the best. At minimum, they need to split games with the Panthers. Bryce Young is growing quite well. They have the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year Tetaoria McMillan, as well. Their defense is young, but talented in the front seven.
Saints at the Giants
The GMEN arguably have a Top-10 offensive triplet with Jaxson Dart, Cam Skattebo, and Malik Nabers. They just need to stay healthy! On defense, the Giants have a lot of talent. They have Abdul Carter, Kavyon Thibodeaux, Arvell Reese, and Brian Burns. The have athletic linebackers that can make life miserable for Travis Etienne and Alvin Kamara.
