Cam Jordan is excited about the Saints WR room

What to like about the Saints WR room

The future Hall of Fame and New Orleans Saints legend Cameron Jordan returned to the Saints a couple of days ago. One of the main he reasons that he chose to return is that the Saints WR room is stacked. He said “all these dogs” and also said, “depth is there”. He also was optimistic about Juwan Johnson, who is a TE.

To be fair, Cam is a bit bias. However, it’s worth checking into his affection and confidence with the Saints WR room.

Chris Olave was second team All-Pro last season. He recorded 100 catches, nine touchdowns, and 1,163 yards in 2026. These were both Top-10 figures. He is only 25 years old, which is a year younger than his QB (Tyler Shough) and me.

After Olave, I believe that Jordyn Tyson is the next game wreaker. He was compared to Scary Terry coming out of college. The 21 year old had 1,101 yards in 2024. If he can be as impressive as Olave, the Saints have themselves a Top-10 WR duo.

The NFL’s most underrated WR3 could very well be DeVaughn Vele. Even Sean Payton admitted it was hard to let him go. He had 475 yards and a few touchdowns in his rookie season.

The Saints x-factor down the stretch could be Bryce Lance. Jordan didn’t even mentioned his name. He has been a stand-out thus far, according to Louisiana Sports. It shouldn’t come a surprise given that he ran a 4.34 40 yard dash. He could be the next “Rashid Shaheed”. Screens, jet sweeps, and deep throws to Lance could make him shine.

Sadly, there was one name that wasn’t brought up in the WR or TE discussion. That was none other than Taysom Hill. He can line up in the slot and make some noise. I don’t expect him to return, given that he put his house up for sale in New Orleans.
