Biggest challenges for the Seahawks

It won’t be an easy road for the Seattle Seahawks if they want to return to Super Bowl glory. I’m going to lay out a few big challenges for the reigning Super Bowl Champions.
- Division foes
The Seattle Seahawks play in one of the toughest NFL divisions (which is the NFC West). They play the San Francisco 49ers and LA Rams, who both might be Top-5 teams in the NFC. The Rams added Myles Garrett and the 49ers added Mike Evans. It may hard to admit that the 49ers and Rams may have even improved!
- Loss of Kubiak
The son of Gary, Klint Kubiak, was arguably the top offensive coordinator in the NFL last season. Sam Darnold looked like an All-Pro under him. He also knew how to utilize the former Spartan Kenneth Walker in the run and pass game. He deserved to get an head coaching gig in Sin City.
- Loss of K9
As mentioned, K9 was a stud in the Rainy City. He looked like Marshawn Lynch at times. Kenneth Walker went to the Kansas City Chiefs, to play with the best QB in the NFL (Patrick Mahomes). At least the Hawks drafted Jadarian Price in the first round to help their rushing attack.
- Lack of a prominent WR2
I love Rashid Shaheed as a return specialist, but he’s not a WR like Tyreek Hill. Shaheed will still improve his catching skills, don’t get me wrong. Cooper Kupp isn’t anywhere near the same WR he was when he won OPOY. With this all said, I don’t love the Hawks WR2 options. If defenses can slow down Jaxon, the Hawks need someone that can step up.
The Seahawks are quite well-rounded. They don’t need to have a QB has potent as Matthew Stafford or Drake Maye to reach the promised land. I would have liked to see them bring in a talented LB or DL. Jadeveon Clowney has familiarity with the Hawks organization. He had 8.5 sacks last season. Thankfully, Aden Durde is still on the staff as a defensive coordinator.
