Saints that could get traded soon

The New Orleans Saints have a lot of talent and depth. This means that may have to pardon some talented players. Hence, I’m going to lay out five Saints that could get traded or cut.
Alvin Kamara
This one is quite obvious. The former OROY Alvin Kamara is on his last legs (at 30 years old). He can still be a reliable pass catcher, but he doesn’t quite break tackle after tackle, as he once did. PFF ranked him as the worst RB last season. In other words, it may be wise for him to find a new home. The Denver Broncos and Green Bay Packers make the most sense.
Spencer Rattler
The former CFB legend Spencer Rattler has arm talent that’s off the charts. He wasn’t quite able to have elite poise and consistency. Tyler Shough was given the nod and he went 5-4. So, he proved to earn the job for the time being. The Saints could potentially get a mid round pick for him. I’d love to see the Steelers acquire him.
Erik McCoy
Erik McCoy is one of the top centers in the league. The issue that he hasn’t been able to stay healthy! He missed 10 games last season and 10 games in the season before. McCoy also turns 29 in late August. Perhaps it’s time to rebuild their center position. The Saints could get a third round pick for him at least.
Carl Granderson
Carl Granderson could be the odd man out. Chase Young had 10 sacks in 12 games last season and Cameron Jordan recorded 10.5 sacks last season. I do like how well-rounded Granderson is. He is stout against the run and the pass. I wouldn’t be opposed to see them trade away Granderson and draft an edge rusher early in 2027. I’d love to see the Bengals bring him in.
Mason Tipton
To be honest, the Saints would likely get a late round pick at best for Mason Tipton. However, it doesn’t hurt trying to deal him. The Saints have Chris Olave, Jordyn Tyson, and DeVaughn Vele for their big three. After them, the Saints have Bryce Lance and Bub Means. In other words, Tipton may be the odd man out.
The Saints could flip any of the players above for early draft picks. They could still be an elite team if they traded all of the above players.
