Commanders WR targets right now

The Washington Commanders have been rumored to acquire Brandon Aiyuk. If this dream doesn’t come to fruition, then they should target a new WR to play with. So, I’m going to unfold many WR targets for the Commanders.
Deebo Samuel
There is a lot of chemistry between Deebo Samuel and the Commanders. Plus, there are a lot of Deebo jerseys. Samuel wouldn’t have to go far if he signed with Washington. He had 806 total yards and six TDs last season. Jayden Daniels should find him a lot in their revenge tour together.
Tyreek Hill
Terry McLaurin and Tyreek Hill would be the most talented WR duo on Day 1. Jayden Daniels isn’t a pocket passer. He can make deep throws and plays with his feet. He needs to have more screens and trick plays that move the ball deep down the field. It wasn’t long ago that Hill was voted as the very best player in the league.
Justin Jefferson
Justin Jefferson is the biggest prize. JJ is arguably a Top-3 WR in the NFL. The issue is that he plays with J.J. McCarthy. If he was in the right system and QB, then he can be an All-Pro wideout. The Commanders reached the NFC Championship a couple of seasons ago. They need a splash move like this if they want to return to those glory days.
Michael Thomas
It would take a quality organization and talented QB to lure in Michael Thomas. I don’t want him to go out of the league after not playing since 2023. MT can still moss defenders and run crisp routes. He is 33 years old, so he would likely be a WR3 right now, but I believe he has 1-2 more seasons left. Adam Thielen is 35 and he recently played.
Amari Cooper
Amari Cooper isn’t completely washed up. He had a career-best 1,250 receiving yards in 2023. He even did it with the Browns! Cooper could be a prominent WR2 right now. He is 32, so injuries are more common. He may benefit from a rotation right now.
