Best spots for Will Levis
By: Jake Rajala
Will Levis is officially a free agent after being cut by the Tennessee Titans. Levis entered the league in 2023 as a second round pick. He is 5-16 as a starter. In other words, he has been one of the biggest QB busts in recent memory. He has struggled to put up numbers in a putrid Titans offense. I believe he will benefit from a fresh start. With that said, I’m going to lay out the best landing spots for him.
New York Giants
The GMEN had a “few” fine quarterbacks last season. Now they are only carrying Jameis Winston and Jaxson Dart. Neither QB has proven thremselves over a 17 game slate. I’d like to see them bring in more talent at the QB spot. May the odds ever be in your favor.
Green Bay Packers
The Packers could use more competition at their quarterback spot. Tyrod Taylor isn’t a superior backup at this point in his career. After all, he is 37 years old. He’s ten years older than Levis. Jordan Love has also missed two games in 2025 and two games in 2024. It’s vital they have a sharp QB2.
Denver Broncos
When Bo Nix went down with an injury in the playoffs, they were stuck with Jarrett Stidham. He had a passer rating of 63. If the Broncos just had an average QB, I believe they would have won the Super Bowl. They had the defense and a couple of impressive weapons on the table.
Washington Commanders
Jayden Daniels fell off a cliff after his rookie season. After reaching the NFC Championship in 2024, he went 3-6 last season. He looks like the next RG3. It’s sad to witness. Even if he can shine on the field, there’s no guarantee that he can stay healthy. Marcus Mariota is their current QB2, but he could improve from some competition. They have three QBs on the roster right now. Hence, they could cut their current QB3 (Athan Kaliakmanis) and sign Levis.
Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers have Bryce Young and Kenny Pickett for their top two QBs. They also have a third QB by the name of Haynes King. I believe Levis can take the QB3 spot. All three QBs are young, so this could really be a long-term QB group. Obviously, it’s beyond expected that Young is the starter.
Honorable Mention:
Titans
It wouldn’t be a complete surprise if Levis returned to the Titans. He has chemistry with their offense and he’s familiar with the culture. He could join their practice squad if he can’t get back on their 53 man roster. Then he could still look to join a new team while he’s on the Titans practice squad.
