Who could be a Pro Bowler for the Saints?

The New Orleans Saints have many big name players, such as Cameron Jordan, Demario Davis, and Tyrann Mathieu. However, there are names that are seeking to pop out and have their name sung from the heavens. To make more sense, there are figures that could shine and “make their first Pro Bowl”. With that said, I’m going to untwine a few potential first year Pro Bowlers for the Saints.
Carl Granderson
Carl Granderson took a bit of a step back last season. In 2022 – he notched 8.5 sacks, 20 QB hits, and 14 TFLs. I expect Granderson to score double digit sacks in 2024. Cameron Jordan will likely play less than he ever has in his career. Hence, there should be a plethora of opportunities for Carl to wreak havoc. Furthermore, new defensive coordinator Brandon Staley will know how to unleash hell and get after the passer.
Rashid Shaheed
I know Rashid made the Pro Bowl as a returner, but I will still keep him on the list – as he could make it as a WR. Rashid Shaheed was on pace to have around roughly 950 receiving yards. The most impressive aspect of his style is his deep threat ability. He honestly has Tyreek Hill potential in my opinion. He was averaging 17.5 YPC! If Derek Carr can stay healthy (besides Rashid staying on the field), then Rashid should really blossom.
Bryan Bresee
Bryan Bresee has been one of the most productive pass rushing defensive tackles in the league. He has been more superb than Nick Fairly and Sheldon Rankins. The 23 year old scooped up 7.5 sacks, 14 QB hits, and 7 TFLs last season! He also had 38 pressures. I’d like to see Bryan play stronger against the run.
