What is the best trade destination for Brandon Aiyuk?

By: Jake Rajala

The San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk has been rumored as a trade candidate in the past. Again, he’s said to be a popular trade candidate. Matter in fact, PFF has dubbed Aiyuk as the 49ers best trade candidate ahead of the draft. Well, I’m going to untwine the best trade destinations for Aiyuk.

Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills can’t lose in the AFC arms race. Kansas City Chiefs has Xavier Worthy, they brought back JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Travis Kelce is coming back for another season. Furthermore, Cincy has inked Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins , and they will certainly make another push for a Super Bowl spot.

Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys could use a weapon to go along with Ceedee Lamb. Dak Prescott is being paid like a Hall of Fame QB. So, they need to give him toys and a fighting chance. The Boys WR2 Jalen Tolbert recorded 610 yards last season. I don’t believe he’s a daunting weapon.

Carolina Panthers

The NFC South is wide open. If the Panthers can bring in a weapon to go along with Adam Thielen and Xavier Legette, they can put up some fireworks and do better than their 23rd spot in PPG a season ago. Bryce Young can punch his first ticket to the Pro Bowl w/ another toy like Aiyuk.

Las Vegas Raiders

Tom Brady is losing sleep at night about the Raiders situation. They need to load up on more talent if they want to compete in a division that had three playoff teams last season! Brock Bowers and Aiyuk would be a formidable combo.

New England Patriots

The New England Patriots are in a bit of a hole. They have a young QB in Drake Maye, who needs more support. They don’t have a 1k receiver on their roster. To make matters worse, they play against the explosive Bills and Dolphins twice each in the regular season. I’d love to see them acquire a WR via trade or sign Stefon Diggs.

Honorable Mention:

Denver Broncos

Sean Payton is a genius and he knows how to utilize weapons better than nearly any other signal-caller. He could make Aiyuk an All-Pro WR again. The Broncos would have one of the best WR rooms with Courtland Sutton, Marvin Mims, and Sutton. Most importantly, the Broncos are building their roster to chase Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs to win the AFC West.
