Where is the best spot for Mark Andrews?
By: Jake Rajala
Mark Andrews has been rumored as a hot trade target. Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry can make a lot noise, regardless of Andrews. Hence, they may believe that an “expensive” Andrews is expendable. With that said, I’m going to untwine the best landing spots for Andrews.
Los Angeles Chargers
Jim Harbaugh will sniff out good deals if there is one to be made. The Chargers need to make big moves if they want to dethrone the Kansas City Chiefs. Will Dissly isn’t a quality starter (50 catches, 481 yards, and two TDs). Harbaugh will dream of ways to help the match-up nightmare in Andrews.
Buffalo Bills
The Bills have a hole at TE. They also lack serious firepower at the WR spot. Hence, they could really benefit from a pass catcher at the TE spot to fill the voids. Josh Allen may be the reigning MVP, but he’s still human. He needs quality help, especially if he wants to win his first Super Bowl.
Los Angeles Rams
The LA Rams weren’t scared to reel in Davante Adams. They shouldn’t stop there, as they could use a superb weapon in the slot and another quality red zone target. Tyler Higbee is a Top-15 TE, but he’s not going to make a Pro Bowl. I’d love to see Les Snead stay aggressive and bring in another superb weapon for a QB that’s beyond well-paid.
Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers could really benefit from a quality TE. Bryce Young took a step forward last season. It’s time to help him grow more by adding more toys. After all, Adam Thielen is 34 years old and will likely retire after this upcoming season. Tommy Tremble isn’t a TE that starts on a dominant team. They need to have an upgrade at TE.
Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars have been aching for a top-notch TE since they gave Tim Tebow a tryout. Brenton Strange isn’t that much of a lethal TE – as he only hauled in 411 yards and two touchdowns. The AFC East is up for grabs. The Jags have to make a move that will shift the division in their favor.
