Where will Von Miller play next season?
By: Jake Rajala
It’s no secret that Von Miller, who is one of the best pass rushers of all time, is a free agent. He registered six sacks and eight QB hits in 13 contests last season. Without further ado, I’m going to untwine the best landing spots for him in the 2025-2026 season.
Denver Broncos
Miller has an opportunity to return home and chase a Super Bowl ring with the Denver Broncos. The Broncos led the league in sacks last season. The Broncos have two double digit sack artists on the edge. They could still benefit from another veteran. On the flip-side, they rank 23rd in cap space, so it may be a challenge for them to offer money that fits Miller’s taste.
San Francisco 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers need to be more aggressive in one of the best divisions in football. They have Miller would pair quite well with Nick Bosa and be an upgrade over Yetur Gross-Matos. The 49ers also sit fifth in cap space, so they have the ammunition to ink him.
New Orleans Saints
The Saints have a few modest pass rushers with Chase Young, Carl Granderson, and Cameron Jordan. I believe that Miller has an opportunity to be the lead dog out of this group. The Saints also shouldn’t be afraid to bring in a very old player, as they carry Jordan, Demario Davis, and Tyrann Mathieu on defense.
Cleveland Browns
Jim Schwartz would be licking his chops with the idea of Miller playing by Myles Garrett. They failed to properly replace Jadeveon Clowney. Miller can also exploit the Bengals OL twice a season. The Browns need more talent on their defense to help an offense that will likely struggle at times next season.
Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys have an opportunity to pay Miller less money than Demarcus Lawrence asked for and arguably get more production from Miller. Miller and Micah Parsons would be quite a lethal duo. The Boys play in an NFC East division that showcased a duo of teams in the playoffs last season. Hence, they could really benefit from adding a couple of more stars.
