Noah Fant landing spots

Best Fant landing spots

By: Jake Rajala

It’s been widely reported that the Seahawks could move on from tight end Noah Fant. Fant recorded 500 yards in 14 games last season. With that said, I’m simply going to untwine landing spots for Noah Fant.

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers need to add another weapon after losing George Pickens. Pat Freiermuth is a modest pass catcher, as he hauled in 653 yards and seven touchdowns. After trading for DK Metcalf, they could stay aggressive and bring in Fant.

Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills arguably have the worst receiving group in the AFC East. They need to bring in more firepower. Fant would be an upgrade over Dawson Knox. Fant could be the x-factor in the playoffs against the likes of Kansas City and Baltimore.

Dallas Cowboys

Let’s keep the pedal on the metal. After the Boys acquired George Pickens, it may be time to upgrade their TE spot. Jake Ferguson hauled in 494 yards last season. I’d like to see the Boys stay aggressive in a division that featured a pair of playoff squads a season ago.

Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins blatantly need more ammunition at the TE spot. Jonnu Smith will be the TE1, but they could use a potent TE2. They may trade away Tyreek Hill, so it would make sense to bring in more firepower. Plus, they need more weapons if they want to edge out the Bills and win the division.

Cincinnati Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals have a lot of shiny toys, such as Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Mike Gesickie. I still believe they could get Joe Burrow more production with Noah Fant. Matter of fact, I believe that Burrow would be the MVP favorite with Fant. Fant would save Cincy from reeling in a quality WR3 in my opinion.

Honorable Mention

Los Angeles Chargers

Just as Jim Harbaugh loves having many RBs on his roster, he loves having a few reliable pass catchers at TE. Fant would also be an upgrade over Will Dissly. If they aren’t able to bring in Fant, I’d like to see them bring back Keenan Allen.
