Will Gilmore end up in Canton?

The free agent Stephon Gilmore has been one of the most productive CBs over the past decade. With that simply said, a question arises: Did he do enough to end up in Canton?
Here is a deeper look at his resume:
- Five time Pro Bowler
- DPOY winner
- Super Bowl winner
There is no wonder why he has won so many awards Besides having a quality amount of career interceptions (32), he has 149 pass deflections. I believe that Gilmore deserves more respect because teams just simply weren’t throwing his way, which hurt his production. It was like Gilmore’s island.
I believe it would be wise to compare Gilmore to a CB that’s on his way to Canton. This CB is none other than Patrick Peterson.

His production and consistency were superb. His career amount of ints was 36 which was slightly better than Gilmore’s int number. He recorded 122 pass deflections, which was lower than Gilmore’s pass deflection number.
PP clearly had more quality seasons, but Gilmore had higher moments. PP never won a Super Bowl or won a DPOy trophy. To be fair, Gilmore was playing on a juggernaut squad, which included Tom Brady and Bill Belichick.
I would say that Gilmore deserves to be a first ballot HOFer. He made the 2010s All-Decade. I still believe he will join a quality team for a lighter contract so he can try to win another Super Bowl. Sadly, Gilmore hasn’t been named to the Patriots Ring of Honor. Perhaps he will in the future. Afterward, I hope his next stop is a gold jacket and a deep speech by the glorious figure.
