Pitts landing spots right now

Kyle Pitts is one of the most athletic gifted tight ends in the league. However, his situation says otherwise. He is in an offense that feeds off Drake London and Bijan Robinson. Pitts only managed to record 602 yards and four TDs last season. Hence, he may be the odd man out in this offense. This could be why Pro Football Rumors said he is garnering trade interest. With that said, I’m going to untwine which teams would be a superb fit for him.
New York Giants
The GMEN are in desperate need of a quality pass catching TE. Theo Johnson, who is their TE1, recorded 331 receiving yards and one touchdown. Theo wasn’t picked to be a TE1, as he was picked “in the middle of the draft” to be a TE2 or TE3. The Giants also need more WR help alongside Malik Nabers, so Pitts could complement Nabers by being a third down and red zone machine.
Philadelphia Eagles
Philly should keep their foot on the pedal and stride to acquire another weapon. The Eagles TE1 Dallas Goedert has failed to eclipse 592 yards over the prior two seasons. Pitts with DeVonta Smith and the nerdy A.J. Brown should place the Eagles above the Chiefs as the Super Bowl favorite. Pitts is also younger than each wideout.
New England Patriots
After possessing little talent at their WR and TE spot, The Pats may miss Stefon Diggs for a while, too. Of course, this stems from the substance issue. Hunter Henry is a quality TE, as he notched 674 yards last season. Nonetheless, he isn’t quite a Pro Bowler, or a TE that can take over games.
Kansas City Chiefs
It’s too easy to foresee. Travis Kelce will likely play his last NFL season in this upcoming season. Kelce is certainly a first ballot Hall of Famer. Of course, he wants to get one more Lombardi trophy and ride off into the sunset with Patrick Mahomes. Pitts can stretch the field more than Kelce right now.
Los Angeles Chargers
It seems the genius Jim Harbaugh has forgotten about carrying a quality TE1 this upcoming season. The current TE1 is Will Dissly, who isn’t an intimidating figure. He only hauled in 481 yards and two touchdowns last season. I’d like to see Pitts used in the same way that the former athletic freak Vernon Davis was used under Harbaugh.
Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills need explosiveness at the TE spot. Simple enough. Dawson Knox, who hauled in 311 yards and two TDs, is far from the right answer for TE1 in Buffalo. He has never recorded more than 587 receiving yards in a single season. Plus, their WR room is quite lackluster, so they could use a prime receiving target at TE to try and make up for it.
Pittsburgh Steelers
It would be quite challenging for opponents in the red zone trying to guard Pitts and DK Metcalf! I also believe they need more ammunition with Pickens out of the equation. Pitts is also an sure-fire upgrade over their current TE1 Pat Freiermuth, who has averaged 547.5 receiving yards per season.
