5 WRs the Bills could trade for

WRs for the Bills

By: Jake Rajala

The Buffalo Bills deeply need wide receiver help, especially if they want to keep pace with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Baltimore Ravens, and even the Cincinnati Bengals. With that said, I’m going to untwine 5 WRs the Bills could trade for.

Chris Olave

I recently pegged the former New Orleans Saints first-round pick Chris Olave as an overrated WR. I feel like he’s a quality WR, but he doesn’t seem to be a Pro Bowler “with the Saints”. Marques Colston was a 1k yard WR with the Saints, but he was never able to get over the hump and be a Pro Bowl WR. Olave would still be the best Bills WR and a potential superstar with Josh Allen, no doubt. I feel like the Saints are in a mild rebuild. The Saints could get an early draft pick from Olave, which could help them select a QB sooner in the 2026 draft.

Tyreek Hill

“Go big or go home”

The Bills could try to make a move that will put them in the driver’s seat for winning the Super Bowl. It wasn’t too long ago that Hill was voted as the NFL’s best player. Well, he seems disgruntled with his situation. Hence, he should feel better by joining a winner. The downside of this mock trade is that the Bills and Dolphins play in the same division, so that’s a reason it may not unfold.

Christian Watson

Christian Watson is a gifted WR, but he’s sort of the odd man out. The Pack has Jayden Reed, the recent first-rounder Matthew Golden, and Romeo Doubs at WR. Watson can still really stretch the field, as he averaged 21.4 YPC last season. However, Watson has yet to play a full season, which should make him more expendable.

Adam Thielen

Adam Thielen should bring back memories of former All-Pro WR Cole Beasley. Each WR can dominate from the slot. Thielen recorded 1,014 yards in 2023 and then 615 yards in “10 games” last season. The Panthers also have a pair of young, more prolific WRs. Meanwhile, Thielen gets a chance to win a Super Bowl with Buffalo.

Brandon Aiyuk

There has been a lot of speculation that Brandon Aiyuk could be traded over the past few seasons. It seems somewhat unlikely with Deebo Samuel traded away. However, it is Kyle Shanahan as the HC and he may feel like it’s worth rolling with George Kittle and a younger WR group. Aiyuk has also been somewhat shaky in his career, too.
