5 best trade destinations for Scary Terry

Destinations for Scary Terry

By: Jake Rajala

The Washington Commanders acquired former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel this off-season. The combination of talent and price makes the WR2 Terry McLaurin a hot trade target. With that said, I’m going to untwine five trade destinations for Scary Terry.

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers opened the door for DK Metcalf, shut the door on George Pickens, and opened the door for Aaron Rodgers. I expect them to be aggressive for another elite WR. Insert McLaurin into this equation. All McLaurin dad last season was haul in 13 touchdowns. The Steelers were 23rd in touchdowns, so it makes sense for them to acquire him.

Tennessee Titans

Cam Ward needs his woody. He needs to find a true Top-10 WR. Calvin Ridley is more so of a WR2 on a team. He only hauled in 1,064 yards and four TDs last season. He isn’t even Tee Higgins WR2 quality, much less WR1 talent. PFF gave Ridley a 73.1 grade.

New York Giants

The New York Giants have a shaky QB-WR situation. It’s unclear who the starting QB is. It’s also a mystery who will stand up alongside Malik Nabers. Nabers registered an 86.7 PFF grade. I’d love to see Jaxson Dart grow with Nabers and play through his growing pains and struggle, which will only fuel his next off-season to work hard.

Las Vegas Raiders

Tom Brady needs to get out of his mansion and reel in an elite toy for Geno Smith. Vegas already has Brock Bowers, who had arguably the best rookie season at the TE spot. Plus, the Raiders need to have more fireworks if they want to compete in a division that sent three teams to the playoffs last season.

Buffalo Bills

I’ve said it a hundred times. I believe the Bills are making a terrible mistake by not adding high-end WRs. Perhaps they will see a trade target that’s (outside free agency) more worth adding than previous choices. McLaurin can play a couple of more seasons than Diggs, too.

Honorable Mention:

Cleveland Browns

I don’t love the Browns QB room and I certainly don’t admire the Browns WR chart. After Jerry Jeudy, there is a drop-off. Cedric Tillman hauled in 339 yards and a few touchdowns last season. I’d love to see a reunion between Amari Cooper or a signing of Michael Thomas to fuel the Browns WR table.
