best landing spots for Tyler Boyd
By: Jake Rajala
Tyler Boyd was once seen as the best WR3, alongside Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins in Cincinnati. In 2025, he’s a free agent looking for redemption. With that said, I’m going to unfold the best destinations for him.
Buffalo Bills
It’s too easy to peg the Buffalo Bills as the best landing spots. It’s still all too good to be true. The Bills need a WR, especially if they want to beat Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson. They should reunite with Gabriel Davis or sign Boyd. Boyd can move around and fit into any set-up.
New Orleans Saints
The Saints have been aggressive to find a WR, even after signing Brandin Cooks to be their WR3. Boyd is more of a possession WR than Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed. Tyler Shough or Spencer Rattler needs a reliable, sure-handed third-down magnet.
Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers need a fine replacement for George Pickens, who is now in a Dallas Cowboys uniform. They also need more firepower, if they want to win a Super Bowl and go out into the sunset. Rodgers proved he can’t carry a team by himself last season.
Cincinnati Bengals
“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”
Boyd had four seasons of 800+ yards with the Bengals as the WR3, which is quite impressive. Two of those seasons were over 1k yards. I’d love to see the Bengals add more firepower and cement Joe Burrow as the MVP favorite.
Las Vegas Raiders
I believe the Raiders should have been more aggressive to land talent. Well, here is their chance to bring in firepower. Boyd could shine with the attention being hogged by Brock Bowers. The Raiders current WR1 Tre Tucker only had 539 yards last season.
Houston Texans
The Houston Texans have to get over the hump and peg themselves as a playoff contender. They already added Nick Chubb to their offense this off-season. Why not add another weapon? Of course, Stefon Diggs can’t be the lone wolf at WR forever.
Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos have a genius by the name of Sean Payton calling the shots. He likes to use many WRs in his offense, sort of like hockey changes. The Broncos have Courtland Sutton and Marvin Mims Jr, but I believe they need an upgrade at WR3.
