Ranking the Top 10 players in the NFC West

Who is the best player in the NFC West?

By: Jake Rajala

The NFC West is one of the most talented divisions in the league. With that said, I’m going to cover the best of the best in the wild NFC West. Let’s begin.

10. Cooper Kupp

Cooper Kupp may not be the same WR that won the triple crown. However, he is still gifted, wise, and in a superb scheme with Klint Kubiak calling the shots. He missed five games last season, but he was on pace for 1k yards.

9. Trent Williams

Trent Williams is a flat-out bully at LT. He recorded a PFF grade of 85.6 last season, which was sixth among tackles! He doesn’t plan to retire soon.

8. Jared Verse

Jared Verse only had 4.5 sacks, but he was all over the field (as he had 66 combined tackles). He won DROY due to his motor.

7. Davante Adams

Tae was on a hot streak last season, despite playing with two different teams. Tae is 32, but he should be around as a catching machine for a few more seasons.

6. Brock Purdy

Brock Purdy is the only QB on this list. He earned his record setting contract. He had a down season in 2024, but he had the best TD% of 7 in 2023.

5. George Kittle

There shouldn’t be a surprise that PFF has dubbed George Kittle as the best overall player before. He is a maniac in run blocking and an elite pass catcher at the same time.

4. Fred Warner

Fred Warner is arguably a Top-5 MLB. He received the torch from Patrick Willis. He had a PFF grade of 89.2, which was fourth among LBs.

3. Nick Bosa

Nick Bosa is one of the top sack artists in football. He missed a few games last season, but he still had nine sacks, 24 QB hits, and 15 TFLs. He’s just as dominant against the run as he is against the pass. He had a PFF grade of 91 last season, which was fourth among DEs.

2. Puka Nacua

Puka Nacua had the highest PFF grade among WRs last season. He is arguably a Top-5 WR at least. I’d love to see him stay healthy for a whole season before dubbing him the best wideout.

1. Christian McCaffrey

Christian McCaffrey still has a few years left in him. He can flex his will in the run and pass game. He suffered a torn ACL, but he looks good this off-season. Let’s not forget that Saquon Barkley once tore his ACL and he’s doing just fine.
