Pro Bowlers for the Raiders
By: Jake Rajala
The Las Vegas Raiders have a rich history. Matter of fact, they have had more success in their history than most NFL teams. With that said, they’re keeping their gas on the pedal and seeking to return to the Super Bowl. Well, they could make it a lot easier by gaining success from unheralded players earning their first trip to the Pro Bowl. Hence, I’m going to unfold these players seeking Pro Bowl glory.
Ashton Jeanty
I would be a fool to not peg Ashton Jeanty as a Pro Bowler in his first season. Jeanty is the OROY favorite, according to almost every football outlet. Jeanty reminds me a lot of a prime Marshawn Lynch. All Jeanty did last season was rush for 2,601 rushing yards and 29 TDs. He has had injuries, but they were deemed minor.
Kolton Miller
Kolton Miller has recently been one of the best left tackles in football. Kolton has shined against the elite pass rushers in his division. PFF handed him a grade of 80.6. If his team is more noticeable than the last few seasons, his work will also be more recognizable. He is still 29, which isn’t that old in LT years.
Christian Wilkins
To be honest – Christian Wilkins has been a bit all over the map. I will still try and anticipate Wilkins having similar success as his 2023 season. After all, he only played in five games last season! He had nine sacks, 23 QB hits, and 10 TFLs in 2023. He can move around from DE to DT.
The Raiders have a few underappreciated, very talented players that have been on the cusp of making it to the Pro Bowl. I fully believe these names listed are in their prime and ready to take the next step, which should result in a Pro Bowl berth. Many may wonder why I didn’t have Geno Smith on this list. Well, he has already made one Pro Bowl.
