First year Pro Bowlers for the Jets
By: Jake Rajala
The New York Jets went 5-12 last season. They need surprise players if they want to shock the AFC East and make the playoffs in the upcoming season. With that said, I’m going to unfold a few potential first year Pro Bowlers for the Jets.
Garrett Wilson
It’s blasphemous that Garrett Wilson hasn’t made a trip to the Pro Bowl. He won OROY, yet they didn’t give him a ticket to the Pro Bowl. He had 1,104 yards and seven TDs last season. With that said, I expect him to get more targets with Davante Adams out of the building. His friend Chris Olave has broken 1k yards, but he hasn’t quite gained a Pro Bowl nod either.
Breece Hall
Yes, I’m picking another skill player. Breece Hall ran angry for 876 yards and five TDs. He should benefit from a dual-threat QB in Justin Fields. We witnessed Derrick Henry play like an OPOY candidate with the ultimate dual-threat QB in Lamar Jackson. Henry was third in the league in yards before contact! I also believe Michael Carter has let down the offense and he will have fewer carries.
Armand Membou
Armand Membou was the Jets seventh overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. He had a 94 athletic score! He had 31 bench press reps with a 4.91 40 yard dash. He is penciled in as the right tackle, which should help him transition better to the NFL. Hopefully, he doesn’t bring back memories of Mekhi Becton.
The Jets have many young, gifted players. They just need to develop and gain chemistry with one another. They desperately need some players to rise up and help their QB in Justin Fields shine as the QB1. He was benched last season and he has a career record of 13-30, so he could use all the aid he can get. They also happen to play in a division with reigning MVP Josh Allen and a Miami Dolphins team that recently added Minkah Fitzpatrick and Darren Waller.
