Best Trask trade destinations

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a fantastic problem on their hands. They have two quality backup quarterbacks. These QBs are none other than Kyle Trask and Teddy Bridgewater, who just signed with them. This means they can exchange one for a draft pick or player. I believe that Teddy B is a bit older than Trask, so they could get less for him. Trask has attributes that made him a first-round pick. A team could fall in love with him. With that said, I’m going to unfold trade destinations for Kyle Trask.
Pittsburgh Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers could have their future QB in Trask. With Aaron Rodgers, Trask has an opportunity to learn from the best and get acclimated to the system. Mason Rudolph isn’t a Top-20 QB. The Steelers need to give him some competition. Trask is also a few years younger than Rudolph.
New England Patriots
Drake Maye is far from a proven QB. He went 3-9 last season, while throwing 15 TDs to 10 ints. He somehow made the Pro Bowl, too. Trask has shown strong short accuracy, which fits well with Josh McDaniels’s scheme.
Miami Dolphins
Trask doesn’t have to be traded to a team where he’s pushing a QB for the starting gig. He could fit well in Miami because Tua Tagovailoa has had injury issues. Tua only played in 11 games last season. He missed four games in 2021 and four games in 2022. If the Dolphins want to compete with a backup, they should target Trask.
Dallas Cowboys
Similar to Tua, Dak Prescott has had injury issues. The stat machine missed nine games last season, five games in 2022, and 11 games in 2020! Cooper Rush played well with the weapons on the boys. I believe that’s a good sign, given that Trask is more talented as a passer than Rush.
Kansas City Chiefs
The best NFL team should try to have the best backup QB. If Mahomes gets injured deep in the playoffs, they need a backup QB who can have the same magic that Nick Foles unleashed for the Eagles. Plus, he missed a game last season and a game in the season prior to that. He also missed two games in 2019 and a game in 2020. The point is: Mahomes isn’t invincible, and they need someone who can step in and shine if he gets injured.
